The Season 1 DVD runs for 960 minutes, and is subtitled in English, Spanish and French. The box set is presented in widescreen format with an aspect ratio of 1.78:1. The 6-disc DVD set includes: all 22 Season 1 episodes, four featurettes, including "Making of Prison Break", "Making a Scene", "Beyond the Ink" and "If These Walls Could Speak". There are also five deleted/alternate scenes, TV spots and promotional trailers.

An Easter egg has been hidden in the season one box set (don't read on if you want to discover it yourself!). Go to the episode "Sleight of hand" then to the scene selection, then go to scenes 9-12, then highlight "episode main menu" but don' press enter.
