just watched the final episode of prison break and I feel sooooo let down, what an awful ending with Micheal dying. Why on earth couldnt the writers have kept it a happy fairy tale ending. I cant believe I've watched all those episodes and loved the show but was so disappointed with the ending. Let Michael live!!!

I just finished the second season with my girlfriend who's never seen the show and she loves it just as much as I do. There's nothing like it, we can watch a whole season in three nights 'cause she's so addicted!

I believe they left the door open by not showing Micheal's body to bringing it back if the $ and all the characters are available.

He could have been thrown back and the shock killed the brain tumor and taken into hiding by the FBI guy and his team for a secret mission....

it was great, but a shame it has to end. There has to be away of them bringing it back, i have a few ideas already :) with micheal alive, even better. does any1 know away to speak to the prison break team about some ideas

This was the greatest series i have ever watched. Good job to the cast who were involved. though the end was short and sad, we were highly entertainted for the past 4year.

What a great series!!! I don't watch much tv, but I never could miss an episode of Prison Break! I've followed this series from the 1st episode and loved every single one! It's sad to see it has come to it's close. I hope they can have some type of movie later on showing that Michael never died. If they can show Kellerman supposedly not getting gunned down in that van, they can bring Scofield back!

it sucks! None of this make sense. Mother Scofield and Kellerman alive? It's a joke. The tumor surgery with the latest technology and the tumor is back? After 4 years Sara is still alone but happy ? At the end they're fugitives again? Please tell me there's more?

he survived, company took him to best doctors, and he is now one of them! for his wife and son to live, he has to do that!

I've just watched the Final Break.
I don't deny it's a great ending to an amazing show,PB is the best show ever,but I insist the writers could let Michael live and it would still realistic.
They didn't care about us as loyal fans.
The end could be great with a happy ending 4 Michael.IMO it's soooooooooooo sad ..soooooooooooo tragic & even worse than any movie because we just watch any movie 4 just 2 or 3 hours ,but we have been living with PB almost 4 years.
It was like a fantastic dream & then we woke up suddenly realizing that was just a nightmare.
I don't & I'll never never forgive the writers how they could be so crul with us like this

Hi A.K It's so good seeing so many UK fans following in here and others too from across the globe. I find it so amazing you understand the ebb and flow of US politics and culture to appreciate this kind of show so well.
One thing we've learned about PB and their writers, they can and will make just about anything happen ... so here's hoping for a new contract for another season with Michael back at the helm!

I watched the very last PB tonight and must say that although I did not like the idea of Michael dying, it was beautifully done. But I cannot fail to believe that but for the writers strike PB would have perhaps gone on for a further season, it seem that, whilst I agree that the writers should get a better deal, the writers shot themselves in the foot. The ending should have been different,
for the last four years the writers and cast have taken us to the very extremes of pushing the envelope yet at the end they suddenly decided to bring us down to earth. I could say a lot more but it is over. The writers and the great cast have taken us on a fantastic adventure and have given us four years of great entertainment. It should not have ended with the death of Michael but is seems that the writer did not care what the viewers wanted, that is my only critisism. So everyone take care and keep well. A.J.

i'm not sad about the ending in fact i'm glad coz i can still make the assumption that michael's not dead. We didn't see his body neither did sara & Linc. So there was no Michael in that gravestone. my ending version would be he's in a high security jail where no one will ever never know. coz he's considered a threat

The ending really brought tears into my eyes specially when she told him she is not leaving without him and he told that "Am leaving with you "and at the end when they were watching the tape and he started talking about his child really really saaaaaaaaaad,the scarfice was priceless.Even thought i would have wished the ending would be different and that he died from the tumor which would have given him more time with sara and the chance to see his child

Damn you Prison Break. You had to end it like that didn't you. I swore that no tv programme would ever make me cry but the ending of The Final Break bought a few tears to my eyes. A fitting end to 4 fantastic seasons. Well done to the writers for keeping us guessing even in the last episode. Prison Break rules!

I cried at the part where Michael had to put the two power cabels together. How cruel is that? Making die like that? I thought he died because of his brain tumor? Can he at least die peacefully? Dammit!

Yeeah , it was sooo unhappy , but i agree, i was not upset soo much as when i sow E22, i think he just dead from cancer in his brain. But when i sow he do it for his love and for his baby, that was amaizing. I did not think that i could love this film soo much , that i love it now !!!
But in spite of beutiful SAD END, i`m sure that we all wanted to see tham happy and together...

It is unhappy 2 se the is coming to an over! Surely we ned another movie fro Scofield with his crew Mahone,Sucre,Burrows,cash and t-bag.

According to info I've read, there is the possibility of 'Daddy' and her colleagues having their own series; "Cherry Hill", where Gretchen Morgan would be the central character.

I just find it a bit strange how in season one it took him 22 episodes to get out of a prison he knew almost everything about and in the final break it takes less than an episode how to figure out how to break sarah out of a prison he doesn't know anything about.
So really what I'm saying is they should have just made it another season with sarah behind bars and everyone else trying to break her out lol. Honestly, I think the characters had so much more potential, I loved the whole 'daddy' story. Shame it only lasted this short. But then again shame prison break had to end anyway. I could have watched michael break out of another ten prisons and still not be bored! :)

Usually, they work something out in a pinch but not this time. Since there was no other way, Mery, she needed to leave or she would surely die in prison which would still be leaving him, along with them being in separate prisons and the baby being sent to foster agency... I think if he was going to die early for it, she needed to make it worth the price by leaving to raise their child.

I wonder how Sara left him, I wouldn't if it was me...despite of the coming baby.

I hate to mention this, but, no shot of the body...not necessary for a grave site if Linc was unable to come back to retrieve it. If the writers wanted, is it possible, he was taken into hiding not fully dead, and the shock killed the brain tumor???

So true, Clarissa, and I hadn't thought of the electrocution irony. Thanks for pointing that out. It is easier losing Michael seeing this episode. If they'd have put off the "4 Years Later", simply prepared us with the nose bleed, it might have helped everyone through the shock, without feeling so thrown over this cliff. (Didn't they learn anything through Sara's sudden death?)

nw316....you're right, it is pretty neat irony. Sara opened a door for Michael in Fox River and now he opened a door for her. He also got electrocuted, which is the same way Lincoln was going to die in Fox River (in the electric chair). So, in the end, he saved both of them and took both of their places.

I see a lot of people felt better after watching The Final Break. I felt it was a much better ending and left me less pissed off about Michael's death. They should have aired this as a finale episode and ending with that "four years later by Michael's grave scene". It would have made much more sense.

Pretty neat irony: she unlocks a door giving him a chance at freedom, and 6 months later he returns the favor.

Michael might have been left with nothing more than a ritzy architect's pad he no longer needed once an unknown brain tumor reached him; a dead brother; never reconciling with his father; meeting the love of his life; and leaving a precious heir with deep friends he rescued out of their prisons along the way, had he not answered the call and laid it all down.

Also loved Sara's line to 'Daddy': "... or she was just a crazy b**tch that bit off more than she could chew." Super!

this felt like more of an ending. I feel closure now. so in many ways i applaud the writers for showing us micheal dies in the last ep. and now they show us how.

altho i must say, incredibly unrealistic lol.

i think it would have been good to show us micheal suffering and being electricuted, as it would have shown he was the one that took lincs place really. sacrificed himself for his brother and everyone else.

Just saw 'Final Break'. They didn't make the case for Sara's in-exoneration, but overlooking that, excellent job! (You can't convict somebody on a partially framed security video as it doesn't show Christina being hit in addition to what she was doing, as if it really matters at this point.)

But overall, great being back inside the walls, super action and drama, and very moving end. I cried man tears (on the inside). BTW, the "Daddy's" end and T-Bags last scream, so excellent!

It's definitely worth seeing if you're a long time fan of the show as I am. One thing, the 'Four Years Later' reunion scene should be edited onto the end of Final Break for the DVD. It's great re-watching it after Final Break, and the song fits Michael's character so well!

Prison Break in my books is the BEST series ever shown on TV. Amazing Cast, amazing story, and I cried and cried in "the final break".

Will always love Michael Scofield.

This should have been season 3. None of that rubbish with kellerman clearing sarah.

Final Break was well done. It was very emotional. Whether you agree with finale ending or not this final break is worth seeing. Congrats to an amazing cast.

i undertand what you meant by its not called prison break run or prison break take down the company...so is there no more prison break because it got canceled or because the story finally did come to a end which it was a great end by the way best damn series i ever watch
