Born and raised in Havana Cuba, Danay Garcia is no stranger to the spotlight as she spent her childhood performing and dancing. After being a ballet dancer for 13 years, Danay decided that she wanted a career change and modeled for a while but wasn?t happy with this career choice. All Danay needed was a friend to suggest acting and Danay was in love with the theatre after her first class. A newcomer to the United States, Danay Garcia has only been there for 4 years and could not speak a word of English yet managed to land a part on one of televisions biggest shows. Danay doesn?t watch much television, but revealed that she is a huge FRIENDS fan.
